Isabella and Matthew met through their friend and Isabella’s housemate, (who would eventually become one of their groomsmen). Their friend invited Matt over for dinner and the rest is history.

Or was it?

They both traveled overseas separately shortly after meeting, but found themselves missing each other the entire time. When they both returned, it’s fair to say they were very keen to see each other. When they did, their romance blossomed.

Matthew and Isabella were planning to celebrate their five-year anniversary with an overseas trip but Covid had other ideas. Instead they made do with a five-course Vietnamese meal delivered to their door. 

As they’d been planning to visit France, they created a little French-style restaurant nook in their apartment with champagne, flowers and a first-class view of the Melbourne skyline. It was picturesque and romantic.

Bella baked Matthew’s favourite shortbread cookies and wrote the words “will you marry me?” in edible silver. Yes, Queen!!! She followed up the cookies with a special ring for Matt and then Matthew pulled out a promise ring he had waiting for Bella! This is better than anything on Netflix right now.

Oh, they both said yes.

They went on to celebrate their wedding which had an enchanting, rustic and relaxed theme. 

The autumn light that graced this wedding is second to none. We couldn’t ask for more beautiful conditions as wedding viddeographers.
